Turtle Creek and other local bodies are at typical late-spring levels. Lawn lush and needing frequent (weekly or sooner) mowing. Deer are brazen about eating landscaping even when plentiful browse exists for them. Possum in yard early mornings. Bird feeders are very busy. Abundant woodpeckers, but with emerald ash borer infestation that is logical. We have chainsawed six ash on our lot already, with plenty more diseased to come down. Pleasant temps; holding off on turning AC on as long as possible. Farmers stated planting was "a couple weeks late" this spring due to abundant rain, wet fields. Germinating well at this time. Manitoba wildfires have caused AQI alerts for PM2.5 this week.
