Condition Monitoring Report
Station Number: CA-HM-113
Station Name: Eureka 2.4 SSW
Report Date: 6/7/2025
Submitted: 6/07/2025 9:10 AM
Scale Bar: Mildly Dry
Description:
Over the past week, our region has experienced a prolonged dry spell with no measurable rainfall. Sky conditions have remained predominantly, mostly sunny to partly sunny, offering clear visibility throughout the period. Concurrently, local observations noted gusty northerly winds reaching up to 30 miles per hour. In higher terrain and along coastal areas, these wind gusts are likely to be even stronger.

Since May 3—over 35 days ago—no precipitation has been recorded. This sustained absence of rain confirms that we are firmly in the dry, summer-type pattern. Looking ahead, meteorological forecasts suggest that this warm, dry regime will persist with no appreciable precipitation expected in the near term. While the clear skies and warm temperatures invite us to embrace the season, the ongoing moisture deficit remains a concern.

Be sure to enjoy the summer warmth responsibly and remain vigilant for any unexpected shifts in weather. I look forward to sharing another detailed report next week. Stay safe and have a great day!
